Standard layout, Domestic water heating as a zone

In the standard layout, the wood gasification boiler is connected to a large buffer tank. This tank is then used to heat the zones of the house by means of a distribution manifold.

The flow to the coil in the Domestic Water Heating Tank is treated as a zone. In the application above solar has also been installed.

Standard layout, Domestic water heating pumped seperately

In the alternative layout, the wood gasification boiler is connected to a large buffer tank. This tank is then used to heat the zones of the house by means of zone valves for each zone.

The flow to the coil in the Domestic Water Heating Tank is pumped seperately. This means that it can be given priority over the heating circuits if required. In the application above solar has also been installed.
