RVR Supply several types of solar collector / solar panel.
Vacuum Collectors
RVR Solar HP Range Solar Collectors
The RVR Solar HP Range of vacuum tube solar panels offer very good value as they have a low cost per kWh of output. They have been manufactured specifically for RVR to offer the best mix of price and efficiency.
The HP collectors are heat pipe type collectors in which the tubes transfer the collected energy by means of a regifrigerant to the manifold, where it heats the solar fluid.
The collectors are also very easy to transport and handle as the tubes can be disconnected from the manifold of the collector.
Benefits of the RVR Solar HP range:
- Among the lowest cost per kWh of output on the market
- A large aperture area can be achieved in a single panel
- Heat Pipe technology means panel can be easily transported and then assembled on-roof
- Can be installed on-roof initially and have the tubes added later during commissioning

Calpak 12VTN Solar Collectors
With one of the highest gross efficiencies on the market, the European designed and manufactured 12VTN solar panels make the most of the roof space available. They have a very high aperture area relative to their overall dimensions so that a more compact installation is possible.
The Calpak VTN collectors are fluid type collectors which use U tubes to circulate the solar fluid within the absorber. They also come complete with a CPC Parabolic reflector, which makes the most of diffused energy in cloudy weather.
Benefits of the Calpak 12VTN range:
- Requires less roof space than other solar collectors
- Large aperture area relative to dimensions.
- Polished parabolic reflector optimises performance even with diffused sunshine.
- No on-site assembly of collector required

Flat Panel Solar collectors
TiSun FM-S Solar Collector
Tisun are one of Austria's leading solar panel manufacturers and their FM-S collector is the latest in high efficiency design. It offers superior performance to standard flat panel collectors whilst offering the low prices inherent with a flat panel design.
They are ideal for use in new build situations as they can be mounted in-roof using a flashing kit. As a result they offer great aesthetics and provide an excellent finish. They can also be mounted on-roof if required.
Benefits of the TiSun FM-S range:
- High efficiency modern design
- Can be mounted on-roof
- No on-site assembly of collector required

Large Flat Panel Solar collectors
These collectors are ideal for commercial applications or for larger scale solar heating applications.
Tisun FI and FA Solar collectors
Tisun are one of Austria's leading solar panel manufacturers and their FI large collectors are designed specifically for commercial applications.
They are designed to reduce the complexity and installation time for larger solar heating projects. As they offer a large aperture area in a single panel, they can simply be lifted by crane and installed at roof level. This eliminates the time and effort of installing and connecting many smaller standard sized panels.
Two models are available. The FI collector is suitable for mounting in-roof on a pitched roof and the FA collector is suitable for mounting on-roof on a flat or pitched roof.
Advantages:
- Simple, quick installation for in-roof mounting
- Reduces the complexity inherent in large commercial solar applications
- Less panel joining means reduced heat loss and improved reliability
- Attractive finish on any project
