The Reheat grant is available to businesses to install renewable energy. Under the ReHeat Deployment programme, grants are available for the deployment of qualifying renewable heating systems in the following categories.

  • Boilers fuelled by wood chips and/or wood pellets
  • Solar thermal systems
  • Heat pumps

Support of up to 30% of eligible costs is available for Capital Investment projects and support of up to 40% of eligible costs is available for Feasibility Study projects.

RVR can assist in making a REHEAT grant application, carrying out the required feasability study for the grant approval process along with any other technical support required.

Further Information

We have extensive knowledge of the REHEAT grant scheme, having successfully completed many projects utilising funding from this scheme.

For example, the RVR designed and supplied solar thermal system in the Clare County Council offices in Ennis was the single largest REHEAT aided project in Ireland at the time of installation. It remains one of the largest solar thermal systems in Ireland. You can read more about this in our references section.
