A system with an output of up to 900kW can be easily designed using PROCON 75 boilers. In this type of design, one PROCON 75 Kaskade model must be used. All other boilers are standard PROCON 75 models. An OCI 420 communications module must also be fitted to each boiler.
The Kaskade model contains the controls to manage the entire installation. It provides features such as:
- Modulation of the group of boilers
- Rotation of the lead boiler
- Weather compensation of the entire installation
- Hot water priority control
Essential design information is given below.
IMPORTANT!
The boilers must be installed strictly in accordance with the PROCON Instructions. Once installed, the entire system must be cleansed and flushed to remove debris, flux residues etc. The system must be filled with clean, chemically neutral water. Water hardness must not exceed 3.6 mol/m³.
A suitable corrosion inhibitor ‘INIBAL’ should be used in all systems.
The required concentration is 1 - 2% of system capacity.
Failure to observe these requirements will render the guarantee on the
product void.
Dimensions and Location
The boiler should be installed in a dry indoor location where there is sufficent space to accomodate the boiler and provide the clearances needed for maintainance.

No clearance is required between the boilers
