Wood Gasification Products
Sweden is the world's largest market for wood pellet and wood gasification boilers. In fact, in 2006 Sweden used as many wood pellets as Germany, Austria and Italy combined.
We have chosen Varmebaronen, one of Sweden's largest wood pellet and wood gasification boiler manufacturers as our partner for biomass products.
Varmebaronen Wood Gasification Boilers
The Varmebaronen range of wood gasification boilers are downfiring and burn split logs by providing a negative draft from below. This causes around 80% of the dry weight of the wood to be converted into a gas, which burns very efficiently.
The boilers are loaded full of dried wood and lit with a gas torch. The boiler then burns for up to 3.5 hours, delivering up to 120kW of energy into a large buffer tank.

Thermal store / buffer tanks
It is essential that a buffer tank is installed with a wood gasification boiler. From a safety point of view it is crucial. This is because the wood gasification boilers produce a lot of energy and if that energy does not have somewhere to be placed, it can be dangerous.
RVR Recommend the use of a 1500 litre buffer with the Vedolux 30 and a 2000 litre buffer with the Vedolux 37.
