This Diacom hydraulic separator (also know as a low-velocity header) is ideal for domestic heating systems.  It allows flow rates on the primary boiler circuit to be stable even when flow rates on the secondary side change.

The overall diameter is 3" (DN65) with 1" connections.  It is designed for flow rates of up to 2000 L/h which makes it ideal for domestic systems with capacities of 15 kW - 50kW.

The separator has a 1/2" fitting on the top to accommodate an air vent and a 3/4" drain on the bottom.
