The deadline is real

From 1 January 2027, new domestic heat pumps must run on a refrigerant with a GWP below 150.

  • R410A — out. GWP 2,088.  R32 — out. GWP 675.
  • R290 — in. GWP 0.02.

Same job, different refrigerant. The hydraulics, electrics and commissioning you already know don't change — but the standards, the clearances and the handling do.

Morning — the theory

  • A refresher on heat pump basics 
  • Introduction to R290
  • The new standards and what they mean on site — refrigerants, regulations,  EcoDesign, building regulations and the grant picture

Lunch — on us.

Afternoon — hands-on with Quantix

  • The Quantix range and why it's faster to fit
  • R290 on site — clearances, safety and the keep-out zone
  • Hands-on install, controls and commissioning
  • Outdoor unit and indoor pre-packaged indoor unit
  • Live app and diagnostics demos

You'll leave knowing how to plan it, fit it, commission it and support it.
