Very High Temperature R290

The Domino HP N is a modular R290 inverter air-to-water heat pump for commercial heating and cooling, delivering hot water up to 77°C with ambient operation down to -20°C. Using natural R290 propane refrigerant (GWP 0.02), it eliminates F-gas phase-out risk while achieving A+++ energy class.

Individual units range from 63 to 125 kW heating capacity; connect up to six units for systems to 750 kW using integrated Victaulic hydraulic connections. Eurovent certified with seasonal efficiencies (SCOP) of 164–177% at low temperature, and full compliance with ErP 2021 standards.

  • R290 natural refrigerant with sub-5 kg charge per circuit on most models — simplified safety compliance under EN 378
  • VSD scroll compressors and EC fans deliver true inverter modulation across the full operating range
  • Leaving water temperature up to 77°C — suitable for radiator retrofits, legacy systems, and domestic hot water
  • Modular "Domino" design: units install at just 500 mm spacing (250 mm on the 018 model), all sharing a common 1,160 mm width
  • Integrated SDS²E safety system: ATEX leak detection, gas expulsion fans, sealed compressor segregation box, and safety relief valves
  • Safety interlock links adjacent units — a leak shuts only the affected unit and its neighbours while the rest keep running
  • Trane Symbio 800 controller with 7" TD7 touchscreen, BACnet and Modbus support, web interface via Wi-Fi/Ethernet
  • Four acoustic versions: Standard, LN, XLN, XXLN (up to -4 dB[A] reduction)

  •  Smart flow control with VFD pump: constant speed or constant delta-T mode for optimised real-world COP
  • Single or dual hydraulic pumps, standard (200 kPa) or high pressure (300 kPa)
  • Gas/water separator — captures refrigerant before it enters the water circuit in the event of a heat exchanger leak
  • Buffer tank (185–285 L depending on model)
  • Hydraulic modularity kit with Victaulic quick-connect pipework and shut-off valves per unit
  • Multimanager kit (Symbio 500) for group control of up to 6 units with rotation, staging, and back-up logic
